1960's Vintage Velvet Evening Dress

A classic in black velvet from the mid-Sixties, here's a long evening gown that has a a notched scoop neckline, a slightly high waist (which is higher in front), a long narrow skirt that is gently gathered at hips, and a knee-high walking slit in back. The dress is lined with black cotton velvet and has a vintage label from Lord & Taylor. It zips up in back.

About a small/medium size, it measures:

Bust - 36"

Waist - 28"

Hips - 40"

From shoulder to waistline - 14" (in front)

Length in all - 50"
