1960s Vintage Muslin Gunne Sax Dress

Super Hippie Goddess gown--perfect for Proms, Garden Weddings, or Renaissance Faires! This is an older, original 1960s Gunne Sax, with the original black label. It's made with rustic, hand woven, natural 100% cotton, trimed with red & black rose brocade ribbon, and tassles.

The sleeves are long, and are full and gathered at wrist. The waist is not empire, but slightly higher than the natural waistline. It closes with a zipper in back.

About a small size (do check measurements, which are taken on the outside, and please leave room for clothing underneath), it measures (approximately):

Bust - 35"

Waist - 27" (remember this is a slightly high waist)

Hips - 44"

From shoulder seam to seam - 15"

Sleeves - 26.5"

Length in all - 53" (very long, but not floor length)

In #1 excellent condition; a rare piece of San Francisco hippie culture!
