1940s Vintage Satin Bias-Cut Glamour Gown

This is a beautiful and rare vintage glamour nightgown that can also be worn as a dress! It's from the Forties, and has that Movie Star look. The fabric is a luscious, shiny, rayon satin in pale lavender, with trimmed off white lace. It has two long sashes to tie back, and the long skirt is cut on the bias to enhance the womanly curves of one's body.

The label reads "Forty Winks."

About a medium to large size. The bias cut sort of molds to ones shape, so this could work for a medium as well.

It measures:

Bust - 42"

Waist - 32" (this can be tightened with ties)

Hips - 46"

Length in all - 54"

In #1 very good condition; no holes, stains, etc.
