Vintage 1970s Young Edwardian Brocade Dinner Suit

In the early Seventies Young Edwardian by Arpeja was top drawer boutique fare, with beautiful and unique designs done as an homage to the lovely and sometimes whimsical fashions of the Edwardian period.

Here we feature a beautiful and romantic skirt suit. The fabric is antique style brocade (70% cotton 30% rayon) done is shades of green with a botanical pattern.

Both pieces are lined with green acetate, and the fabric is a medium heavy weight: perfect for chilly days and nights.

The jacket/top has princess style bell sleeves, a scoop neck, and large, fabric covered buttons.

The matching pencil skirt is knee length, and zips in back.

About a medium size, but the skirt runs small. It measures:
