1960s Vintage Lace-Up Woven Leather Boots

These are some of the most beautiful boots I have ever seen! Made by hand in Greece, in the Sixties for "Shoe Biz" by Henri Bendel.

All parts are leather. The uppers almost look like woven straw, but they are actually made with soft strips of braided leather. These are totally open weave: like wearing boots without covering your leg, or being too warm!

They lace up with an extra nice lace! The leather-covered heel is perfectly round.

The size is marked 7 AA; they measure:

Width at ball of foot - just over 3"

Heels - 2.5"

Height from floor to top - 16.5"

Calf - (adjustable) up to 16"

In #1 very good condition: gently worn, excellent quality!
