Vintage Men's Lace Wedding Shirt

This is a vintage Tagalog Barong. This beautiful and unique shirt is worn for weddings in the Phillipines. The fabric is pina cloth, which is made from pineapple fiber and looks and feels very much like silk or linen organza. It's very sheer, with intricate embroidery and open lace work.

It closes with hidden buttons in front and on the sleeve cuffs. Meant to wear untucked. Has side slits to help give it an elegant and neat look when worn.

The size is marked large, which is a rare find for one of these!

Length in all – 33”

Shoulder seam to seam - 20"

Sleeves - 25"

In #2 very good condition: a couple of very small marks on the bottom back section.
