1960s Vintage Lilly Butterfly Ruffle Dress

Here's a dress to have fun in, from the mid-Sixties, when they were really swinging! This is by Lilly Pulitzer, from the very early days, labeled "The Lilly". The print and the colors scream 60's, 60's, 60's!

The fabric is the best 100% cotton: a light orange sherbert, with bubblegum pink and white. The print has leaves and butterflies.

It is high-waisted, and very fitted. Below the bust are 9 tiers of ruffles, all the way around. A perfect dress for doing the Cha Cha (and the Twist!).

Closes in back with a metal zipper.

High Waist/ Under Bust - 30"

Hips - 37"

Length - 37"

In #1 excellent condition: no flaws, bright colors, no fading.
