1970s Vintage Patchwork Purse

Here's a crafty item from Louisiana, by Cajun Quilters of New Orleans. A soft purse, made with hand-stitched pieces of what appear to be neckties from the Sixties!

The inside is lined with fancy brocade Egyptian print rayon. The purse has a foldover flap and one fabric-covered button closure. It has a lightweight chain to carry it by.

It measures:

9" X 9"

The chain measures 22" long total.

In #1 very good condition: the white velveteen trim at the bottom is slightly soiled.
