1960s Vintage Renaissance Hippie Dress

Here's a fabulous funky frock from the Sixties or maybe early Seventies. The fabric is a heavy, rustic type, a hand woven look. The dress is made of 100% cotton in bright fushia pink, and is trimmed with white lace and a contrasting chartreuse grosgrain ribbon. There are inset patches with embroidered flowers at the bottom of the skirt.

It has fan-shaped pleated cuffs trimmed with lace, a V-neck in front and back, and a back nylon zipper.

This was made in Mexico, probably for the tourist trade in Acapulco. This is a unique dress, and very well made.

In #1 excellent condition: no holes, stains, etc.
