1960s Vintage Mod Yves Saint-Laurent Skirt

Here's an original vintage skirt by Yves Saint-Laurent Rive Gauche collection. Of course, Rive Gauche is Left Bank in French, and that was the hip place to be in Sixties and Seventies Paris.

This is a simple, chic, knee length, full skirt with a wide waistband. The fabric is very fine, soft, tightly woven polished cotton in a giant check pattern of black, white, and bright red/orange.

It has a wide hook closure at the sides with zipper, and one pocket hidden in the side seam.

The size is marked Euro 34, which is very small.
