1940s Vintage Striped Taffeta Dress

Here's a glamorous dress for the evening! This may have been a dressing gown, or a lounging dress, but it's made better than most dresses one sees today.

The fabric is a luxurious satin taffeta in a woven striped pattern, in bright tones of red, light blue, light yellow, and light green on black.

It has dolman sleeves, a full skirt with side pockets, and a front metal zipper, plus wide sashes at the neck.
