1970s Vintage GIORGIO SANT'ANGELO Rich Hippie Dress

Back in the early Seventies, GIORGIO DI SANT'ANGELO dropped the "Di" in his name and decided women needed to loosen up and start dressing like gypsies.

This dress is lavishly done, in rich fabrics perfect for hippie gypsies and Renaissance re-inactors!

The dress is made with a small, empire-waisted purple velvet bodice, and a wide metallic lace and embroidery waistband,in bronze/gold, mauve, and lavender.

The long skirt and full sleeves are made of a beautiful, rich and unique cotton print, in lavender with gold and brown embroidery. The hem is trimmed with metallic lace and purple velvet ribbon.

It zips up in back and has fabric-covered buttons on the fancy cuffs, plus pockets hidden in the side seams.
