Art Nouveau Vintage Embroidered Robe Coat

This fabulous and rare bohemian Art Nouveau/Arts & Crafts style evening jacket, or robe, is from the Early 20th century. The fabric is tightly woven polished cotton, or maybe a woven silk, in black. It is embellished with fine, hand-done embroidery done with metallic thread and naturally-dyed silk. The designs are lovely paisleys and florals.

This is sort of a cocoon shape, worn open and loosely. It should work for a small to medium size, up to medium large size.
