1950s/1960s Vintage Sari Silk Silver Pink Dress

You will look like exotic royalty in this fabulous vintage dress! It is probably from the very early Sixties. The fabric is the most glorious, antique, East Indian silk. The color is a rich rose pink, with golden irridescent highlights.

There is a paisley border pattern woven into the dress, an embroidered brocade of golden silvery metallic silk thread. The dress has a long, fitted column-like shape, with a detailed and fitted bodice. It closes in back with a metal zipper and it is fully lined in pink silk.

The skirt is full around the hips and narrow towards the hem, which has a small side slit.

About a medium/large size, it measures:

Waist - 30"

Hips - 42"

Length - 51"

From shoulder to waistline - 15.5"

In #1 very good condition: one tiny spot near the back hem and some slight imperfections on the silk.
