Vintage 1950s Men's Rayon Bowling Shirt

Here's some classic Americana: an original vintage Fifties bowling shirt by King Louie! The 100% soft, high quality rayon is in royal blue with yellow vents and collar. The shirt has bowling pins and ball embroidered on the pocket, and a bowler embroidered on the collar.

The name "Les" is embroidered above the pocket, and "Hermes" is embroidered on the back. This may been a relic from the New Orleans Mystic Krewe of Hermes! New Orleans Carnival Krewes are private, secretive organizations that are behind the scenes of that amazing tradition which is Mardi Gras in New Orleans.
