Vintage German Dirndl Peasant Dress

Here's a lovely vintage Bavarian peasant dress. These were worn (and still are sometimes) with a white cotton peasant top underneath the bodice. The bodice is very fitted, and cut low to sort of act as a combo corset/bust lifter. The skirt is full cut.

It closes with sturdy hooks at the front of the bodice.

The fabric is a very pretty heavy linen, in mint green on top, trimmed with braided pink linen. The skirt is rose pink and green floral print cotton.

The size is marked euro 40, and runs small.

It measures:

Bust - 34" (your bust is ideally above this)

Waist - 27"

Hips - Full

Length - 44"

From shoulder to waistline - 15"

In #1 excellent condition: no holes or stains.
