1960s Vintage Tartan & Velvet Evening Gown

Here's a fabulous vintage evening gown from the Sixties! This is so funky and unique. It has a very fitted black velvet bodice (rayon velvet), with a dropped waist panel and a wide, low neckline trimmed in micro pleat plaid taffeta.

The skirt is very full and done in a crisp rayon taffeta, in a bold, classic tartan plaid in kelley green, black, and red.

The bottom of the skirt has a pleated ruffle, which matches the trim at the neck and cuffs. There is a black ribbon to tie at the waist.

The gown zips up in back and the bodice is lined with black silk.

About a small size, it measures:

Bust - 34"

Waist - 26"

Hips - Full"

Length - 57"

Shoulder to waistline - 15"

Sleeves - 23.5"

In #1 excellent condition: one tiny spot on the lower skirt that you would have to search for to see.
