1970s Vintage Victor Costa Velvet Dress

Here's a very rare vintage dress by Victor Costa. It is from the late Sixties/ Early Seventies era. It is really a maxi skirt with a detachable bib front that has criss-cross straps in back. The fabric is lovely sage green cotton velvet trimmed with two shades of green grosgrain ribbon and cranberry red velvet ribbon.
There are sections of cotton insets with detailed botanical prints in matching colors.

The skirt hooks and zips and the bib front is attached with buttons.

A small size, it measures:

Waist - 25.5"

Hips - Full (over 46"0

Length - (from waist to hem) 42"

In #1 very good condition: almost perfect, doesn't really look worn, but there are some light rust marks on the velvet where the skirt was hung.
